We’ve recently partnered with Brad Montgomery to share his courses on a number of topics including how to be a motivational speaker, how to add comedy to presentations, and how to stay motivated. We are really excited to bring Brad’s wealth of knowledge to our community.
So, who is Brad Montgomery?
Brad has been a corporate comic and magician for over two decades. In a job where some individuals just try to “Make a living,” Brad has thrived like few others. After his start working on the streets of Denver, Colorado and then at the Renaissance Festival in Colorado, Brad moved on to colleges where he logged over 250 university shows. Then he went on to perform at comedy clubs and cruise ships.
Today, Brad makes his living as a comedian motivational speaker or funny motivational humorist speaking to corporate and association audiences. His clients include IBM, HP, Kraft, Sprint, MCI, the CIA, the FBI, and state governments across the USA.
Brad graduated from Brown University, and has earned his Certified Speaking Professional designation, which is the highest earned award from the National Speakers Association. (Fewer than 7% of speakers worldwide have earned the CSP.)
He was inducted to the CPAE Speakers Hall of Fame, which is a big deal. Like an Oscar, but without the movie stars.
Brad joined John Gray (of Mars/Venus fame) and Mark Victor Hansen (of Chicken Soup renown) to write Mission Possible. He has also produced and published Humor Me: America’s Funniest Humorists on the Power of Laughter, as well as Humor Us: America’s Funniest Humorists on the Power of Laughter.
His credits in magic are all over the map. He worked as a “close-up” magician in restaurants for years. Performed hundreds of sweaty shows at the Colorado Renaissance Festival. Toured his act to over 200 colleges. He played comedy clubs and cruise ships. But now performs mainly for corporate and association audiences.
